Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a doctors referral for an appointment?
No, but if you have copies of any recent reports or scans, please bring them with you to your appointment to help give a clearer picture of your’ condition. With your permission, we may contact your GP, consultant, or other healthcare professional for additional information.
Does my health insurance cover my treatment?

We are NOT registered with any insurance companies. You should check that your particular policy covers Physiotherapy treatment at our clinic and that you can reclaim any fees you have paid our practice independently.

Do you accept payment from third parties (e.g. solicitors, independent hospitals, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICC (NHS personal health budgets))
Yes, however this must be authorised by the third party and our pricing structure is different from our discounted fees for self-funding clients. You are also responsible for any unpaid fees from the third party. Please contact us at the practice for more details.

Evening opening hours are for our Pilates classes, private evening appointments are only occasionally avaliable.

Is there parking?

Parking is NOT available in the DN22 car park when the dental practice is open. Their car park is very small and is specifically for their staff and disabled clients. There is plenty of free parking directly outside the building and there are several public pay and display car parks within a few minutes walk of the clinic.

Elderly or Disabled Clients: If you have a blue badge you can park in the dentist’s car park if the disabled space is available, however please be aware that if your appointment clashes with the dentist’s lunch hour, staff change-over, or their finish times, you may have to move your car for a few minutes during your treatment session if it is blocking in any cars that need to leave the car park. The dental practice has allocated an area in their car park as a “drop off zone”. This means that your driver can park for a few minutes and escort you to the building (all wheelchair accessible), before returning to their car to park in one of the above recommended locations.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, please feel free to bring someone with you to any 1:1 session. If you are planning to bring a child to your appointment, please discuss the suitability with your Physiotherapist first; we will try and accomodate this whenever possible. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to be left unacompanied in the building at any time and they are not permitted to observe or join in classes.
